O Consolador:
For the 11th
year
|
in a row,
with a great
response,
Poços de
Caldas
stages the
Meeting for
Study of the
Spiritist
science. How
was it
created?
|
The Meeting for
Study of the
Spiritist
science was
created to
discuss the
Spiritist

promoting union
for everybody.

O Consolador:
How long will
the activities
take?
The Meeting, as
we saw, is
composed of
lectures and
workshops, which
objective is to
discuss and
orient the
practice in
Spiritist
Centers. Each
lecture lasts an
hour and the
workshops, one
hour and half.
O Consolador:
What’s the
average
attendance in
previous events?
Is there any
registration of
the amount of
cities, states
and countries
that
participate?
Average 1,350
participants
from, mainly,
all Brazilian
states and
cities.
Countries which
participated
already:
Portugal and the
USA. We had
interest of
groups from
France and
Switzerland,
but,
unfortunately,
we will have
neither space
nor structure
for
translations.
O Consolador:
When and where
will it take
place this year?
This year it
will be on 21,
22 and 23 of
November, at
Palace Casino,
where it has
been done all
these years,
preferentially
the first
weekend after
November 15.
O Consolador:
How has the
response been so
far?
Usually, great
deal of
participants, at
the end of the
event, book for
another year.
Besides, we have
had several
hotels crowded
for the Meeting.
That’s why we
ask for those
who are
interested to
register as soon
as possible. We
also fill
evaluation
sheets to
control our
work.
O Consolador:
What’s the major
difficulty
coordinating
such event?
Natural ones
like defining
compatible
themes with the
reality and the
audience, the
financial costs;
we have many
hotels in Poços
de Caldas, but
every year some
people leave to
make a
reservation too
late and,
because of that,
can’t get a
vacancy. We
don’t have many
workers, but
dedicated ones.
O Consolador:
What is the fee
to participate?
And how can we
pay?
Up to October 1st,
the fee is R$
50,00. From
October 2 to
November 3, R$
55,00 and later,
R$ 60,00. For
teenagers up to
18 years old
there is a
discount of 50%.

O Consolador: Is
there anything
for teens?
Teenagers can
participate of
workshops. This
year we offer
behavioral
themes: Do you
know your
potential? The
process of
self-knowledge
building a
self-esteem;
Identifying and
building life
principles; the
care we owe to
one another;
Building
happiness:
responsibility
in our hands;
Quality of
Life.
O Consolador:
Are the
activities
simultaneously?
Is it possible
to choose
themes?
Yes, the
activities are
simultaneous,
so, it’s
possible to
choose lectures.
O Consolador:
Your final words.
We thank the
opportunity to
talk about the
Meeting in the
magazine O
Consolador,
inviting the
reader to be
with us in
November. Poços
de Caldas
welcomes
everybody with
arms wide open
and hotels offer
a different
price for the
participants of
the Meeting.
Besides the
opportunity of
learning, it is
a spiritual
party.
It’ll be a great
joy to welcome
you.
