A record audience,
calculated in 1.8 million
people, watched in
Washington DC to the
investiture of the new
president of the United
States of America, Barack
Hussein Obama, an important
fact that makes rebirth the
hope for an era of peace in
our world, as it is shown in
this issue’s editorial, “The
investiture of Barack Obama
and its perspectives”.
Within the spotlights of
this issue, we highlighted
the interview of the
confrere Yeda Hungria,
radicated in Niteroi (RJ),
gave to our collaborator and
editor Orson Peter Carrara,
in which she speaks about
Dante Labbate, the author of
the book “Mediumship and
other psychic phenomena”,
and a Spiritist pioneer in
Massachusetts, United
States.
Another spotlight in this
issue is the Special
entitled “Aetiologies of the
panic disorder”, in which
Leonardo Machado, from
Recife (PE), says that,
despite being distressing,
it is a syndrome which
prognostic is not so
disfavorable as we suppose,
once the data from medical
literature indicates amazing
results and motivators of
recovery.
The third spotlight of this
week is the Wellington
Balbo’s article about the
lyric singer Allan Vilches’
concert, which occurred last
December at the “Centro
Cultural Matarazzo” theatre,
in Presidente Prudente (SP);
this concert was prestiged
by people from other
religions, as two Evangelic
Pastors and an Eucharist
Catholic Minister, who were
all touched by the
performance of our confrere.
