On 13th May 1869, 140 years
ago, the confrere Antônio da
Silva Neto, pioneer of the
Spiritism in Brazil released
the article “The crown and
the emancipation of the
servant element” nineteen
years before the Golden Law,
whose date will be
celebrated next 13th.
The theme is focused in this
week’s editorial, entitled
“Slavery in Brazil from the
Spiritist perspective”.
How to deal with hyperactive
children?
This is the theme of the
interview that Eugênia Maria
Pinheiro Ramires, from Jales
(SP), conceded to our
collaborator and editor
Orson Peter Carrara.
The educator talks about the
theme hyperactive children
or with attention disorder
and explains how the subject
must be dealt by either
parents or educators.
According to the confrere,
education these days “can no
longer be that one we have
inherited from our parents
and grandparents”.
Another headline in this
edition is the special
article by Rogério Coelho
which focuses on the roots
of the doctrinal
inconsistencies that once in
a while appear among the
Spiritism Movement. The
article was divided in two
parts. The second one will
be published in the next
edition of this magazine.
Claudia Werdine has
participated of one more
doctrinal meeting in Italy,
this time in Cologno Monzese,
where she presented a
seminar last Sunday about
the theme “Evangelization
for Infancy and Youth –
Spiritism and the Integral
Education of the being”, as
shown on the report which is
part of this edition as
another headline.
