Tomorrow, All Souls’ Day is
commemorated in Western
Christianity. It’s a
celebration that appeared in
998 in France and is, as we
know, a special date for the
Catholics around the world,
as shows this week’s
editorial, entitled
Faithful Departed.
One of the highlights in
this edition is the
interview that Jussara
Pretti Korngold, vice
president of the United
States Spiritist Council,
conceded to the journalist
Katia Fabiana Fernandes,
from London. During the
interview, Jussara – who
lives in New York – talks
about the Spiritist Movement
in the United States of
America, country where she
performs various activities,
such as translations,
speeches and social
services, in addition to her
role in the Council.
Another highlight in this
issue is the special report
by Marcus Braga about the
influence of comics in
children’s imagination and
their relation with the
Spiritist teachings.
A State Conference of Youth
Coordinators, promoted by
the Spiritist Federation of
Parana, took place in
Curitiba, counting on the
participation of the
confrere Alberto Almeida as
covered by our correspondent
in Curitiba, Claudia Rojas.
