A new film about spiritist
subjects is on the way
Read, in this edition, the
Foreword Where did we go
wrong?, which comments
on the topic of planetary
transition and analyses the
confusion that can be
verified on Earth, one more
time involved with serious
political, economic, social
and environmental problems.
The interviewee of the week
is fellow colleague and our
magazine’s collaborator
Paulo Gilmar Fraga Salerno,
from Porto Alegre-RS. A
reformed military, Paulo is
the president of the
Regional Spiritist Counsel
of the 1st
Federative Region of the
Spiritist Federation of Rio
Grande do Sul, where he
maintains perseverant
participation in the
Spiritist Movement. In the
interview, which is one of
the highlights of this
edition, he shares his
thoughts about several
subjects and talks about his
participation in the
spiritist movement.
Another highlight of this
week is the Special, by
fellow colleague Almerinda
Terezinha Medeiros de Souza
(Tereca), from Santa
Maria-RS, who analyses the
theme of administrative
capacitation for the
management of Spiritist
Houses. In her article, the
author says that only the
knowledge and the experience
in the doctrine, allied with
good will and disposition
are not enough for someone
to become a good spiritist
leader in the present days.
We will soon be seeing in
the cinemas in Brazil a new
film in which Spiritism
subject will be once again
brought forward. We are
talking about the film “The
mothers of Chico Xavier”,
starring actor Nelson Xavier
performing in the role of
the late medium, as it shows
the report that integrates
the present edition and
constitutes also one of the
highlights of the week.

Yesterday, the 6th of
November, reminded us of an
important event that
occurred in 1940 in this
same day. It took place in
Porto Alegre-RS, for the
first time in Brazil, an
exhibition of newspapers,
magazines and spiritist
materials.
