The tragedy
of Rio de Janeiro calls
out for our support
The tragedy in the
Fluminence hills is
the title of the Editorial
of the week. It tells us
about yet another sad
episode in the State of Rio
de Janeiro- Brazil and also
calls our attention, in
order to be united and make
efforts to help minimize the
suffering of those families
affected by it.
Among the highlights of the
week, we would like to draw
your attention to the
interview taken by Orson
Peter Carrara with fellow
spiritist Alexandre Camargo,
an immigrant born in Marilia-SP
in 1970, who comes from a
spiritist family and is
graduated in psychology at
the Universidade Estadual de
Londrina-PR. The interviewee
has active participation in
the spiritist movement and
performs, through the
internet, an interesting and
innovative work that is
worth being known, with the
aim being the dissemination
of spiritism.
Another highlight is the
Special Edition of
authorship, of the fellow
spiritist Vinícius Lousada,
which is about 150 years
since the publication of
The Mediums’ Book. This is a
work that integrates the so
called Kardequian’s
Pentateuch and it continues
to be of fundamental
importance for those who are
working in the mediumship
field.
On 9th January Divaldo
Franco visited the Balneário
Camboriú-SC, where he
coordinated another event of
the “Movement Peace and
You”. You can read it,
written by Paul Salerno, in
a feature article in this
edition.

Also, in this edition, is
the last chapter of the
classical series Socialism
and Spiritism from Léon
Denis studies, which have
been presented in this
magazine, according to the
translation made by Wallace
Leal v. Rodrigues, published
by O Clarim House
publisher.
Starting next week is the
work analyses of “The
Pathway to Light, written in
1939 by the spirit Emmanuel,
through the mediumship of
Francisco Cândido Xavier and
first published in 1939
through the Brazilian
Spiritist Federation.
