The brothers at Lystra and Iconium spoke well of him, so Paul decided to take it in your company. First, however, the circumcised, for consideration to the Jews of those regions, they all knew that his father was Greek. (NR: As Timothy was the son of a Jewish mother, Paul understood that without circumcision was not it well accepted among Christians of Jewish origin, so the circumcised.) In each city they passed, they conveyed the decisions that the apostles and elders in Jerusalem had taken and recommended its observance. The churches were thus stronger in faith and its membership increased day by day. (Acts 16:1 to 16:5.)

27. Being arrested, Paul turns to the jailer and his family - The warden of the prison where Paul and Silas were retained, trembling, fell to his knees at the feet of the two disciples. That said, the word of the Lord announced to him and all people of his home while caring for them and the jailer washed their wounds. Soon after, the employee received the baptism with all its stakeholders. When day broke, the bailiffs sent soldiers with the release order from both. The jailer brought the communication to Paul, who, however, said, "we both have plagued the public, without trial, although we are Roman citizens, and threw us in jail. Now they want to drop in on the sly. No way! That they will personally deliver us! "Soldiers sent these words to the bailiffs and they were aware that they were Romans, they were afraid. We then speak to them kindly, and after driving them out, asked them to leave the city. Loose, Paul and Silas went to Lydia's house and later left. (Acts, 16:29 to 16:40.)

28. Many Greek citizens and society ladies convert to the Lord - Coming to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews, Paul, as usual, was looking for them and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them. Relying on Scripture, he explained and demonstrated that the Messiah would suffer and rise from the dead. And he concluded: "The Messiah is this Jesus that I am announcing I will." Some of them were convinced and joined Paul and Silas, as did a large number of Greek citizens, faithful to God, and many ladies of high society. The Jews, however, became jealous. Then searched the streets of the worst ilk and individuals, sowing disorder in the city, presented themselves at the home of Jason in search of Paul and Silas. How not found them dragged Jason and own some of his brothers, screaming: "Those who ride such revolutionizing the world are now here, and Jason gave them lodging. All are disobeying the decrees of the emperor, saying that there is another king, namely Jesus." The people and city leaders were scared. That same night, Paul and Silas off to Berea, and arriving there, were talking in the synagogue of the Jews, who were more noble than those in Thessalonica, receiving the best available and doctrine with the Scriptures daily, to check if everything was exactly As Paul told them. Many conversions were made then, but when the Jews from Thessalonica learned that Paul preached in Berea were there to stir up unrest and disorder in the masses. Among them, thought they were Dionysius the Areopagite, a woman named Damaris, and some others. (Acts, 17:32 to 17:34.)
