title of this week’s
editorial
that
discusses
the
ancient
and
fraternal relationship
between
Spiritism
and
Freemasonry,
both
victims
of
intense
persecution by
the
Church
of
Rome.
One of the
highlights
of this
edition
is the
interview
that
Cláudio
Bueno da
Silva,
from
Osasco,
SP,
granted to
our
colleague
Orson
Peter
Carrara.
Author
of a
book of
short stories entitled “A
Smile in Response”,
published by the
Editora
Mythos,
our
colleague from São
Paulo,
who is
also
associated
with the
Instituto Obreiros do Bem in
that
same
city,
talks
about his
experience
as a
writer
and
his
goals
in regards
to the dissemination of
Spiritism.
Another highlight of the
week
is
the
continuation of the special
series by
Marcos
Paulo de
Oliveira
Santos,
from
Taguatinga-DF,
on the
theme
“Death”.

The 13th
Statewide Spiritist
Conference organized by the
Spiritist Federation of
Paraná closed
on Sunday,
March 20th,
in Pinhais-PR
(metropolitan region
of
Curitiba),
as
described in the report by

also
one of the
highlights
of this
edition.

On Monday,
March 25th,
we marked
another anniversary of the
disencarnation
of
José Petitinga (José
Florentino de Sena),
founder of the
Bahia
Spiritist Union.
Petitinga
died at
the age of 72
in
1939.
The
Bahia
Spiritist Union,
today
called the
Spiritist Federation
of
Bahia,
was
founded
by
his
initiative
on
25/12/1915.
