The matter of death is
back
on the scene
This week’s editorial,
The game of contentment and
the Spiritist movement,
reminds us about the
touching story of the young
Pollyanna and proposes that
we restore the joy that has
been missing to the
Spiritist movement.
In this week’s interview,
our colleague Rita de Cássia
Ramos Cordeiro, from Itu-SP,
talks about the creation of
the Benevolent Institute
Chico Xavier, whose goals
include the dissemination of
the Spiritist Doctrine and
supporting existing
charities in that city.
Prepared by Orson Peter
Carrara, the interview is
one of the features of this
edition.
Another featured article is
the special by our colleague
Anselmo Ferreira Vasconcelos
on the problematic matter of
death. According to the
colleague, the inevitability
of the phenomenon of death
is a subject that bothers
and scares most of the world
population, and common sense
suggests that the
overwhelming majority of
people do not prepare
themselves properly for it.
Last week, Maringá hosted
the Northwestern
Inter-Regional, event
organized and run by the
Spiritist Federation of
Paraná, as shown in the
special report included in
this issue and one of its
highlights.
