150 years of The Mediums' Book,
which is considered the greatest treatise
ever written on mediumship. In his
article, the author reminds us that the
existence of mediumship has a noble
purpose and, therefore, it is incumbent
upon us the duty to educate about it and
direct it for the good.

On this day - August 28th - in
1881, exactly 130 years ago, the press in
Brazil published the act by Brazilian
police authorities prohibiting the
activities of spiritist societies, thereby
making official the persecution being
waged against Spiritism.
