A chat with Marco Túlio
Michalick, author of
Courage, Hope and Faith
This
week’s editorial, The
problems we face must be
solved by ourselves, focuses
on a timely lesson contained
in the stories of Hilário
Silva, about the colleague
who asked the help of
spiritual mentors to find
hidden treasures.
The interview of the week is
Marco Túlio Michalick,
currently living in
Brasilia-DF. Author of
Courage, Hope and Faith,
which brings together
stories and reflections on
the virtues that give the
book its title, he talks in
the interview, which is one
of the features of this
edition, about the content
of the book and also brings
important considerations on
the Spiritist Doctrine.
Another highlight of this
edition is the special
article Considerations on
suicide, written by
Christina Nunes, of Rio de
Janeiro-RJ, which was
divided into two parts. The
second part will be
published in an upcoming
issue of this journal.
The third feature of the
week is the article from
Paul Salerno on the travels
of the speaker Divaldo
Franco through various
cities of Rio Grande do Sul:
Santa Cruz do Sul, Santa
Maria, Passo Fundo and
Gramado, where he delivered
the opening speech for the
statewide Spiritist Congress.

This
week we observe one more
anniversary of the
disincarnation of one of the
great promoters of Spiritism
born in this country: Pedro
de Camargo, also known by
his pen name Vinícius, who
died on October 11th, 1966,
at the age of 88.
Born in Piracicaba-SP, Pedro
de Camargo left us important
works in the field of
education such as the books
In the Harvest of the Master
and In the Footsteps of the
Master, and even today his
work in education is a
reference on the subject.
