Here comes a new section:
A Moment with Chico
Xavier
This week’s editorial, A
Moment with Chico Xavier,
reflects on the new section
of this magazine that will
begin with the next issue
and will mark the debut of
our colleague and staff
writer José Antônio Vieira
de Paula, from Cambridge-PR.
One of the highlights of
this edition is the
interview with our colleague
Oswaldo Coutinho, from
Serrinha, Bahia, where he
tells us about the Spiritist
movement in his city and the
origins of the Spiritist
movement in the interior of
Bahia, as well as his
expectations for the XIV
Spiritist Congress of Bahia,
to be held next November.
Author of Articles of
Light, our interviewee,
and active worker of the
spiritist center God,
Christ, and Charity, in
Serrinha-BA, has been
developing intense activity
in the field of doctrinal
studies and dissemination of
Spiritism in the region
where he resides.
Another feature of this week
is the special article by
Paulo Neto, Does the soul
sleep in the mineral?, a
thought that some people
attribute to Léon Denis,
author of the classic
spiritist book The
problem of being, of fate
and of pain. Divided
into two parts, the special
article will conclude in the
next issue of this journal.
The latest meeting of the
Inter-Regional East was held
on October 16th
in Curitiba, in the
headquarters of the
Spiritist Federation of
Paraná, as shown in the
special report included in
this issue and one of its
highlights.

The final text for the
section Raul Teixeira
Answers is published in
this issue. It has graced
this magazine since issue
#5, when it debuted, until
the current edition. The
reasons for the end of the
section are exposed in this
weeks’ editorial, in which
we present to colleague Raul
our thanks for his
participation in these four
years that we’ve had him by
our side.
