Adriano Calsone talks about
mediunic painting
This week’s editiorial, “A
minute of thoughtless
pleasure and its possible
effects”, examines the issue
of so-called social vices
and temptations in our
lives.
One of the highlights of
this edition is an interview
given to our collaborator
Orson Peter Carrara by the
colleague Adriano Calsone,
medium and writer from São
Paulo, who talks about
mediunic painting and the
prejudices in our country in
respect to the exercise of
this mediunic falculty.
Another highlight of this
edition is the special
article “Broth, Caution and
Common Sense”, where Guaraci
de Lima Silveira analyzes
the doctrinal review
proposals that arise from
time to time among
spiritists. In this article,
the colleague suggests
caution in regards to this
important subject.
Divaldo Franco is once again
on the road in the European
continent, starting on May
9th in Dublin, Ireland, as
shown in the report by Paulo
Salerno, which is also one
of the highlights of this
edition.

On Wednesday, May 23rd, we
celebrated one more
anniversary of the birth of
Franz Anton Mesmer, who was
born in the year 1734 in
Iznang and died in 1815 in
Meesburg. A medical doctor,
Mesmer became famous as the
creator of the theory of
so-called animal magnetism,
also known as mesmerism.
