Chico Xavier is elected the
greatest among all
Brazilians
This week’s editorial, "The
greatest Brazilian of all
times" comments on the
SBT program on october 3rd,
when the medium Chico Xavier
was chosen "The Greatest
Brazilian of All Times."
Among the highlights of this
edition, we call the
reader's attention to the
interview given to our
collaborator Guaraci de Lima
Silveira by the colleague
Ednar José dos Santos,
president of the Spiritist
Federation of Pernambuco. In
the interview, Ednar talks
about various subjects and
tells about the spiritist
movement in her state.
Another important highlight
of this issue is the special
article by Jorge Hessen
titled "Spiritism is a
religion and we boast about
it," that examines the
issue of the religious
character of Spiritism and
also comments on criticisms
that have been made to the
work of Emmanuel, who was,
as we know, the mentor of
Chico Xavier’s work in the
field of mediumship.
The medium and speaker
Divaldo Franco participated
in doctrinal activities
during october 4th
and 5th in the
Paraná cities of Cascavel
and Foz do Iguaçu, as Paulo
Salerno shows in a special
report that is also one of
the highlights of this
edition.
