On the eve of another Christmas, our tribute to Jesus

In this week’s editorial, “How we see Jesus”, we seek once again to show our readers the reverence which Spiritism has with the person of Jesus, to whom we dedicate this edition and our deepest homage. 

Mayse Braga de Oliveira, from Rio de Janeiro and living in the Federal Capital, is our interviewee of the week. The interview was conducted by our collaborator Guaraci de Lima Silveira, and in it the well-known speaker, author of the book From Depression to Happiness, talks about obsession, depression and other interesting topics that will certainly attract the reader's attention. The interview is one of the highlights of this edition. 

Another highlight is the special article titled “Mapping the evils of selfishness”, written by our collaborator Anselmo Ferreira Vasconcelos, from São Paulo-SP. In the article, the author says that selfishness, source of all vices which disturb mankind, will only be overcome when individuals seek to understand their eminently spiritual reality. 

More than 600 people attended the VI Spiritist Medical Seminar of Ribeirão Preto, held earlier this month in the auditorium of the Faculdade UNISEB COC, as shown in the report by Giovana Campos which is also one of the highlights of this edition.

This is the last issue of the magazine in 2012, because, as the reader surely knows, we do not publish an edition on the last Sunday of the year. We take therefore this opportunity to wish you a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year filled with peace to all readers and those who have helped us throughout the year, so that the magazine could fulfill the objectives for which it was created.
