Spiritist Congress
celebrates 30 years of
Spiritism in the UK
This week’s editorial, "Prayer
is a force in our lives"
focuses on the theme of
prayer and its importance in
our life, to which the main
work of the spiritist
doctrine devoted an entire
chapter.
Fatima Moura, spirit speaker
rooted in Rio de Janeiro-RJ,
is our interviewee this
week. Spiritist since
childhood, she participated
for more than twenty years
in the activities of the
Spiritist Centre Léon Denis.
In the interview, which is
one of the highlights of
this edition, Fatima tells
us about her experience as
an educator and author of
spiritists books geared
toward children and youth.
Our collaborator Davilson
Silva, from São Caetano do
Sul-SP, is the author of the
special article this week
titled "The mythological
Christ and the Pauline
contradictions."
According to the writer,
theologians see in Jesus
Christ a pre-existing deity
who became mortal, idea
which would have been also
supported by Paul of Tarsus.
The article is one of the
highlights of this edition.
The 2nd British
Spiritist Congress, held in
London on May 11th
and 12th, was a
success, with the presence
of participants from 14
countries, as reported by
Ana Cláudia Fiuza Marques in
a report which is also one
of the highlights of this
edition.
