Brazil after the World Cup

It has been 14 days since the World Cup 2014 ended, unparalleled party which crowded stadiums, it produced a contagious joy in our country rarely seen, although it had finished in a melancholic way, as the most pessimistic Brazilians could ever imagine.

Passed the sadness and restored the reason, we have come back talking about the theme we had focus on issue 369 on this magazine:  http://www.oconsolador.com.br/ano8/369/editorial.html

At the day after our team played with the combined German team, which ending is nit good to remember, a friend from São Paulo sent us a beautiful text signed by a Spiritual Friend, such message we would like to share with our readers:

“Dear country, beloved homeland that greed us with its lush nature, deep indigo sky, crystal clear and pure water, source of life and blessings.

Dear land where it is seen in starry night the symbol of human Redemption, the Cruz,
twinkling in the firmament as remind us that our destination is great and urgent.

Under the blessings of the Crux we all are, new learners of the Gospel of Jesus, new pupils of the Christ of God, with the sublime duty to enlighten the own heart with the lights of the Gospel.

Our legacy is much more than football, parties and sand castles…

Our legacy needs to be the living of True Love.

That our patriotism supplants the moments of games and permeate every act of our lives.

Let us be patriot, brothers, in the streets, welcoming the brother in suffering.

Let us be patriot brothers, in our homes, teaching our children of the moral of Christ.

Let us be patriot, brothers, in our work, contributing to nation’s progress.

Let us be patriot, brothers, in the ballot box, choosing landing governors who represent our will.

Let us be patriot, loving the homeland which greed us, because it is a Jesus’ gift to us all.

Land sings the anthem of solidarity, union among the different, fraternity from its brave people.

Let us unite in our daily efforts to transform our Brazil, starting with the pacification of our hearts, developing in us the imperishable values of honesty.

Our country will reflect the glow of its people and the transformation of each will contribute to build a new world.

No Brazilian was born this homeland by chance; all have a mission to accomplish, educating us on the Greater Good.

United in the higher ideals of life, we will conquer the desired destination see Earth Cruise transformed into the Fatherland of the Gospel, waving the flag of Ishmael in every heart, as a song of praise to the Father Creator for this blessed land. This is our flag: God, Christ and Charity.”
(Author: Spirit Friend)

We make our own the words of the Spiritual Friend, aware that football is solely a sport in which, as everyone knows, some lose, others gain, but the fact does not have the importance that many, in exaggerated form, give to it. If children of Brazil cry today because they saw their team lose, remember that in 2002 the children of Germany also wept for a dozen years later smile, probably as much as desired.
