The drop of water

Once upon a time, a crystal clean drop of water fall into the dry land. It wanted to humidify the soil. It didn’t feel ok in that spot. The drop of water decided to get away from the soil that was suffocating it.

It then got together with other drops of water, walked until they found a spring of water that was

coming down from the mountains. They decided to join the spring of water.

Soon later, the drop of water started to feel bored with the beautiful landscape. The game they were playing was also getting boring. They suddenly joined with a small stream. The drop of water didn’t like the fish, insects and other animals that came to it. They were drinking from the stream and refreshing themselves.

They soon found a river and the drop of water got fascinated by the amount of drops of water that were living there. It then thought life at the river would be much more fun, but soon it realised the problems they faced were the same as before. Therefore, they now have to put up with tree trunks, fish boats and people.

The drop of water soon became bored of this life and wanted something different.

One day it saw a vast amount of water that looked endless. It seemed like earth was becoming water. It was the sea! The drop of water joined the sea, but soon realised it was away from its friends. There was a funny taste on the water: the salt.

It then felt lonely. There were many strangers around it in the sea. Even though the sea was gorgeous, full of distractions and news, it felt unassisted. The drop of water began to remember its past. It missed the time when it fell on the soil. A beautiful plant was born with its help at that time. It remembered how thankful that plant was for the help received.

The drop of water remembered it had many opportunities to help plants and insects when it was part of the stream. It remembered the river, the trees and frogs that were playing up at the margin.

The drop of water then realised it was happy, but wasn’t aware of it. The animals that came to drink water and refresh themselves at it treated the water with kindness. The birds also sang, thankful for the water they were drinking.

It then grieved. The drop of water felt saw and useless.

If it could go back, many things would have been done different! It had so many opportunities given by God, but they were wasted.

It then cried... Cried... The drop of water looked at the sky and prayed for our Celestial Father to give it another opportunity. While it was playing, it felt lighter, lighter, lighter... It then realised it was being sent to a different world.

The  drop  of  water joined  a  soft  and fluffy cloud.

Some days later, a beautiful and enlighten drop of water fell from the sky at a flower.
