Do animals have imortal souls?
About twelve years ago, the case of the chimpanzee “Ai” , of 21 years old, has charmed the world .The animal has been properly trained by Professor Tetsuro Matsuzawa, from Kyoto University, and learnt some aspects of the human language.
Although unusual, the fact was not the first nor the only one to be recorded in the annals of science.
Gabriel Delanne is the author of the book “Reincarnation experiences of Mr. Krall”, which tells the history of a dealer from Elberfeld, whose horses Muhamed and Zarif also could entertain themselves with his master by using a conventional alphabet.
In the mentioned book, Delanne states that Mr. Krall was not a pioneer in such field of research, in fact it was Wilhellm von Osten who identified signs of intelligence in a horse called Hans and sometime later, after training, the animal could count, read and do calculations.
It was the year of 1890 and the facts have indicated that horses were intelligent animals, capable of reasoning, and they were closer to the human race than it was thought, until someone decided to make similar experiments with a dog - named Rolf, a three year old animal with red fur, whose intelligence attracted the attention of Mr. Duchâtel, from the Psychical Society of Paris.
Rolf also knew the alphabet and could make calculations, the same applied to his daughter Lola, who was as intellectually developed as the father and capable of articulating thoughts and discern, what led the renowned scientist Dr. Bérillon to declare that animals whose nervous system has so much analogy of structure and morphology are not stripped of consciousness, intelligence and reasoning.
The case of the chimpanzee Ai did not come as a surprise, itd merely confirmed something that has been discovered almost a century before.
The spiritist teachings about the evolution of the soul explain us about this and other events that occur in the animal kingdom.
The soul endures, in fact, a long journey through the inferior realms of creation until it reaches the stage of humanity.
That's why Gabriel Delanne said in his book that if the dressage and education efforts applied to animals were identical to those applied to children, they would produce amazing results, which would overcome anything that has already been identified in the extraordinary world of the animals, which have, therefore, a great future ahead of them and as the humans, are also endowed with immortal souls.
