The question of doctrinal
purity
It is
difficult to understand why
several mediums, who admire
the work and personality of
Chico Xavier, reject any
analysis that are made of
the messages they receive
when compared with the
contents of Kardec's work.
If the advice, given by
Emmanuel, was valid for
Chico Xavier, why is it not
for the other mediums? This
topic is the theme of this
week's editorial, entitled
The doctrinal purity is good
or evil?
One of
the highlights of the week
is the interview conceded by
our confrere Paulo Afonso
Eberhardt, from the city of
Passo Fundo (RS) in which he
talks about his experience
with the dissemination of
spiritist bookst, what he
believes, rightly, is one of
the best tools for the
dissemination of the
Spiritist Doctrine.
Another highlight of the
week is the special from
Alexandre Fontes da Fonseca,
professor of physics
at the Universidade Federal
Fluminense (The Fluminense
Federal University), Volta
Redonda (RJ), who talks
about the doctrinal purity.
The article has been split
in two parts. The final part
will be published next week.
On the 29th and 30th of May,
it was held in Lisbon on the
5th edition of the
Portuguese Conference on
Medicine and Spirituality,
which was attended by about
700 participants, as shown
in the report by Nuno
Emanuel, one of the
highlights of this edition.

It this edition begins the
study of the book In the
Domain of Mediumship, by
Andre Luiz, psychographed by

Xavier, published in 1954 by
the Brazilian Spiritist
Federation, which will be
presented in this magazine
over 43 editions.
