Text for reading

36. Paul parting words of Ephesians with moving and they cry - Willing to spend the Pentecost in Jerusalem, Paul, on his return to Judea, had asked the elders of Ephesus to come together, because he wanted to talk to them to move off the city. When they performed, the Apostle of the Gentiles spoke to them about their work, noting that he never ceased to insist that Jews and Greeks to turn to God and believe in our Lord Jesus. His hunch, however, was much suffering that awaited him in Jerusalem and, possibly, they never saw again. At least that is what the Holy Spirit to convey. Affirming that life had no value to him, Paul said: "The important thing is to complete my career and accomplish the mission received from the Lord Jesus bear witness to the Good News of God's grace. I know, therefore, that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom, will no more see me. Therefore I declare today that I will not be responsible for the damnation of anyone I have never failed to announce to you the whole will of God. Take heed to yourselves and to all the flock that the Holy Spirit has given you to save, so pastors of the Church of God which he bought with the blood of his Son." Further, he warned: "I know that after my departure will open up in your midst ravenous wolves, not sparing the flock. Do your own environment will arise men who will teach perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, remembering that for three years, day and night and not left in tears to urge each of you." In conclusion, Paul asserted: "I have not coveted or silver, or gold or clothing of anyone else. You yourselves know how these worked my hands to meet my needs and those of my companions. Whenever I showed you that by working so we must support the weak, remembering the words of the Lord Jesus, that person said: "There is more blessed to give than to receive." That said, he knelt and prayed with everyone. And all cried a lot, hugging and kissing her friend and then accompanying him to the ship. (Acts, 20:13 to 20:38.)

37. The prophet Agabus says that awaits him in Jerusalem - On returning to Jerusalem, Paul, Luke and his companions down in the port of Tyre, where they remained seven days with his disciples. Ali, moved by the Holy Spirit they told Paul not to go to Jerusalem, but Paul decided to continue the trip, staying on the path, in Caesarea, home of the evangelist Philip, one of seven, who had four virgin daughters who had the gift of prophecy. They were there some days when he arrived in Judea a prophet named Agabus who predicted what would happen to Paul in the capital of the Jews. Listening to the notice of Agabus, Lucas and others urged Paul not to go to Jerusalem. Paul replied: " Why weep and break my heart so? I am ready not only to be handcuffed, but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus." As he insisted on the trip, the friends have stopped asking, saying only: "Be done the will of the Lord." (Acts 21:1 to 21:14.)

38. In Jerusalem, Paul reports to James all the things in his travels - after these days and made preparations for the trip, all went to Jerusalem, traveling with them some disciples of Caesarea, which took them to the house of Menason, born in Cyprus disciple since the early days, which would host. Upon arrival in Jerusalem, the brothers have welcomed with joy. The next day, Paul visited James and told him, thoroughly, in the presence of priests then assembled everything God had done among the Gentiles through its service. (Acts, 21:15 to 21:19.)

1. Paul was guided by spirits on their journeys of preaching the Good News?

Yes, the fact appears so clear in the book of Acts and Paul himself refers to it. (Acts, 20:22 to 20:24. See also 21:4).

2. Notice that the prophet Agabus sent to Paul, before returning to Jerusalem this?

Agabus had come from Judea, and took Paul's belt, and bind their feet and hands, said unto them, Thus says the Holy Spirit: So the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man to whom this girdle and deliver him into Gentile hands. (Acts, 21:10 to 21:12.)

3. That complaint regarding the content of his preaching to the Gentiles was, to James, presented to Paul by his companions?

They told him they were told that Paul taught Jews who lived among the Gentiles to forsake Moses is telling them that they should not circumcise their children nor to walk according to the custom of the law. (Acts, 21:17 to 21:24.)

4. What are the Mosaic prescriptions that Gentile converts to the Gospel should observe?

They should save themselves from what is sacrificed to idols, blood, choking and prostitution. (Acts 21:25).

5. That incident occurred when the Jews saw him in the temple of Jerusalem?

Seeing him in the temple, the Jews stirred up all the people and laid hands on him, crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man who teaches all over all against the people and against the law, and this place, and Furthermore, also introduced in the Greek temple and defiled this holy place. With that stirred up all over town, and there was a large concourse of people, and taking Paul, dragged him out of the temple, and soon the doors closed. When trying to kill him, came to the tribune of the cohort's warning that all Jerusalem was in confusion. He he took soldiers and centurions, ran down to them. When they saw the tribune and the soldiers, stopped beating Paul. The tribune came up, arrested Paul, who had bound with two chains, and inquired who he was and what he had done. Then drive it sent to the fortress. (Acts, 21:26 to 21:34.)
