In treatment of obsession, passes is not enough
There are some sectors in spiritism that understands that in the treatment of obsession just attends some lectures and receives passes to the end of the meeting, an idea that is indisputably a serious mistake. Of course that lectures and passes are useful measures, but it is not enough, something more is needed.
The matter was dealt very clearly by Allan Kardec in chapter 28, items 81 and further, of The Gospel According to Spiritism, in which one perceives the notorious influence of experiences carried out in the town of Marmande by the group headed by Mr. Dombre.
In chapter to which we refer, the Encoder reaffirms the importance of the passes, but adds, as important steps in treatment, indoctrination of the causative agent of obsession and the expression of will by the patient, whose decision to rebalance is a key factor in the evolution of the process.
Before the publication of The Gospel According to Spiritism, in an article published in the Spiritist Magazine in 1862, Kardec referred to the theme, teaching that the treatment of obsessions is important that the patient strives to acquire the largest possible sum of superiority through the will and the acquisition of moral qualities.
As it is known, in an obsessive process requires that the patient be able to master himself, and for this, the most effective action is the action of the will, supported by prayer.
You will also need to ask the guardian angel and the good spirits that can assist you in the fight, but it is not enough to ask to expel the evil spirit. Remembering the greatest Help yourself and heaven will help you, you should ask them, above all, the missing strength to overcome evil inclinations, because these is what attracts bad spirits, like carrion attracts birds of prey.
Another recommendation from Allan Kardec concerns prayer for the Spirit who causes the obsession, because, according to the Encoder, it is possible, with patience and perseverance, drive, in most cases, the Spirit to good feelings, transforming him from obsessive in a recognized person.
From Kardec to the present day, much time has passed and many works have emerged which dealt with the treatment of obsession, in the face of what we know today, with certainty, a process in which both obsessive litigants are also sick and deserve all our attention and affection so that they can stand up and give a new direction to the story that originated the process.
Caring only the person suffering the yoke obsessive is a misconception that we cannot allow that to occur in a spiritist home well oriented.
