A chat with Najda Maria

This week’s editorial, "Mediumship
meetings open to the public.
Is that allowed? ",
focuses on the practice
adopted by some Spiritist
Centers that still hold
mediumship meetings that are
open to the public and to
the curious.
The interview granted to us
by Najda Maria de Oliveira
Santos, from Belém-Pará,
president of the Spiritist
Union of Pará, is one of the
highlights of this edition.
In the interview, Najda
talks about the spiritist
movement in her state and
the difficulties arising
from its vast territorial
extension.
Another highlight of this
issue is the conclusion of
the special article titled "Linguistic
Rights", by Professor
José Passini, from Juiz de
Fora-MG, in which the
well-known Esperanto
practitioner shows its
importance as a neutral
international language
accessible to all people.
The esteemed speaker Divaldo
Franco was again in Paraná,
where he gave two lectures
in the cities of Foz do
Iguaçu and Cascavel,
respectively on September 11th
and 12th, as
shown in the report by Paulo
Salerno, one of the
highlights of this edition.
