If you would like to study alone, we ask you to try to answer the questions at first and only then read the text that follows. The answer key can be found at the end of the lesson.

Questions

2. That is blind faith? And what is rational faith?

3. Is there a difference between belief and faith?

4. It is possible to communicate the faith to someone through the imposition?

5. Jesus of Nazareth left us a lesson about faith and its importance?

Text

Authentic faith is not stagnant in any circumstances

1. The word "faith" has several meanings. In the usual sense, signifies the confidence of the individual himself, for those that are gifted are capable of achievements that seem impossible to those who doubt him. It is also the name of faith to belief in the dogmas of this or that religion, where it receives specific qualification: the Christian faith, Jewish faith, Catholic faith, etc.

2. There is, finally, the pure faith, the faith non-sectarian, which translates into an absolute security in love, justice and mercy of God. Of all the species of faith, this is undoubtedly the most sublime and the most difficult to find, for being the prerogative of the elite few souls, the improvement comes from a long time.

3. Having faith in God is keeping the heart light sure that our Father in there and it is helpless none of her children, convinced that this goes beyond the simple religious belief. Getting faith is to reach the possibility of no longer say: "I believe" but "I know, with all the values of reason played by the light feeling.

4. This faith is not stagnant in any circumstance of life and always knows how to work by increasing the breadth of his enlightenment, pain, responsibility, the effort and accomplishment. Reflecting the certainty of God's assistance, she expressed confidence that knows all face struggles and problems, with the divine light in the heart.

Carried to excess, blind faith can produce fanaticism

5. From the religious point of view, faith is the belief in dogmas special distinguishing the different religions in this respect and faith can be reasoned or blind. Blind faith, as its name implies, anything goes unchecked, both true and false, and can, of course, every step, colliding with evidence and reason. Carried to excess, produces fanaticism. Seated in error, sooner or later collapse.

6. Only faith based on the true guarantee its continuity, because not fear the progress of the lights, because what is true in the dark so is the noonday. Two conditions requires the true faith. The first is not to reject reason and could be as-yes, reasoned. The second condition is to hold to the truth, never settle for a lie.

7. Worthy of note is that true faith is not the conquest of a sudden. This happens over time is the result of life experiences, although it seems somehow innate in certain people, in which a spark sometimes just to develop it, which is clear sign of progress earlier. In other people, on the contrary, the difficulty of having faith is very large, not least a clear indication of a laggard nature or at least resistant to it.

8. In his book "The Comforter," Emmanuel makes a distinction between believing and have faith. Believe respect to belief. The act of believing in something requires the need of feeling and reasoning for the soul to build the faith itself. Divine inspiration, as opposed to mere belief, faith awakens all the noble instincts which direct the man to do good and, as such, is the basis of regeneration.

Faith is not prescribed or is required, but can be purchased

9. The same teaching found in ch. VII - 2nd Part of the book "Heaven and Hell" by Kardec, in which the guide of the medium which acted as a facilitator in the case Xumene explained that Spiritualism is not immediately become perfect even the most faithful-to dept: "The belief is the first step, next come to faith and transformation in turn, but also force is that many will re-energize the spirit world."

10. A sincere faith is exciting and contagious. Communicates to those who do not have or do not wish to have it. You persuasive words that go to the soul, while the apparent use faith merely sounding words that leave cold and indifferent to those who listen.

11. It is known Kardec this thought: "Unshakable faith is only that which can meet face to face why, in every age of mankind. The importance of faith is highlighted by the encoder of Spiritualism in several passages of his work, as Jesus did at various times, as the passage, noted by Matthew, in which the Master said to his apostles that if they had faith the size of a mustard seed, say to a mountain: "Be in there to there" and she would be transported.

12. "Everything is possible for him who has faith," Jesus taught, as we read in Mark 9:23, so this demonstrates the importance of faith in our lives and encourages us to do everything possible to conquer it, certain that, as asserted Kardec, faith does not require or prescribing, but can be purchased and there is no one who is unable to possess her. To believe is necessary, however, to understand, because - Encoder warns of Spiritualism - blind faith has no place in our world.

Answer Key

1. How can we conceptualize the faith?

The word "faith" has several meanings. In the usual sense, signifies the confidence of the individual himself, for those that are gifted are capable of achievements that seem impossible to those who doubt him. It is also the name of faith to belief in the dog-but this or that religion, where it receives specific qualification: the Christian faith, Jewish faith, Catholic faith, etc.

2. That is blind faith? And what is rational faith?

Blind faith, as its name implies, anything goes unchecked, both true and false, and can, of course, every step, colliding with evidence and reason. Carried to excess, produces fanaticism. Seated in error, sooner or later collapse. A rational faith is not rejected and the reason relates to the truth, never settle for a lie.

3. Is there a difference between belief and faith?

Yes the book "The Comforter" Emmanuel says relates to believe the belief. Divine inspiration, unlike the simple belief, faith awakens all the noble instincts in man-walk for good and, as such, is the basis of regeneration. Same teaching found in chapter. VII - 2nd Part of the book "Heaven and Hell," in which the guide of the medium which acted as a facilitator in the case Xumene says that belief is the first step, and faith will come next, and finally, the transformation, but This requires that many have to re-energize the spirit world.

4. It is possible to communicate the faith to someone through the imposition?

No. According to Kardec, the faith does not require or prescribing, but can be purchased and there is no one who is unable to possess her. To believe is necessary, however, buy-ender, because - warns Encoder - blind faith has no place in our world.

5. Jesus of Nazareth left us a lesson about faith and its importance?

Yes, "Everything is possible for him who has faith," Jesus taught, as we read in Mark 9:23, so this demonstrates the importance of faith in our lives and encourages us to do everything possible to conquer it.
