Vladimir Polízio
(photo)
is a military
man, born and
bread in the
Brazilian state
of São Paulo; he
was born in the
city of Pompéia
and lives now in
Jundiaí. He
became a
spiritist in
1970, after
meeting the
great medium,
Chico Xavier,
who was on a
visit to São
Paulo. Polízio
is the author of
two spiritist
books. In this
interview, he
talks about one
of his
specialist
fields, the
power of
magnetism.
O Consolador:
How did you
embrace
Spiritism?
I drifted away
from Catholicism
little by
|

little,
naturally, as I
realised its
troubles in
dealing with
certain
questions,
either by
avoiding the
subject or
providing
unconvincing
answers. An
example came up
two years ago,
when the Vatican
conveniently
changed its
views on the
limbo, admitting
its existence
was simply
impossible. |
O Consolador:
Tell us about
your experience
in writing
articles for
spiritist
publications.
I see the
opportunities
that emerge to
appear in the
media as
blessings. I try
to mix ideas and
concepts about
well known
themes with
recent facts or
events.
O Consolador:
Why do you think
it´s so
important to mix
the theoretical
with the
practical
aspects of
Spiritism?
At school, all
students are
given access to
the knowledge,
the information
on the subjects
they are
learning, but
the theory and
practice come
together. That´s
what teachers do
every year, for
every class. So
why not do the
same with
Spiritism? Why
not record the
footage of the
spiritist
phenomena, such
as levitation,
materialisation?
If such things
take place, why
not show it to
the experienced
and initiated,
not as mere
curiosity, but
offering an
inexhaustible
opportunity for
learning.
O Consolador: Do
you plan to
publish books
with your notes
and studies?
I will carry on
with my
observations,
but I have
already prepared
a book focusing
on magnetism as
a powerful
source of energy
and yet unknown
to many. In most
spiritist
groups, nothing
or very little
is discussed
about magnetism,
but it was Allan
Kardec himself
who emphasized
that “Spiritism
wouldn´t exist
without the
magnetic
fluid.”
O Consolador:
What aspect of
your studies
interests you
the most?
My research
follows the path
dictated by the
interests and
feelings brought
about by the
chosen subject.
O Consolador:
What would you
like to
highlight from
your archives
and all the
studies you´ve
carried out?
A story really
struck me. It
was the story of
a poor man, from
a very humble
background,
illiterate. He
has managed to
locate the
bodies of more
than 80 people
who drowned. His
work is
acknowledged by
the Fire
Brigade, who in
Brazil is in
charge of
finding the
bodies who die
in those
circumstances.
When they have
trouble finding
someone, they go
to him. Without
any equipment,
this generous
worker dives in
the water and
stays down there
for up to three
minutes. He
calls for the
spirit and very
often gets an
answer. He
doesn´t charge
for his work.
When asked, what
he says,
pointing to the
sky: “He doest
the miracle, I
just do a job.”
O Consolador:
How many cases
do you have in
total in your
records?
There´s a great
number of cases,
as diverse as
one can imagine,
all proving the
presence of the
invisible
magnetic force.
The magnetic
fluid is
everywhere, it
is in
everything. It
interferes in
the choice of
seats, in the
chair used the
most in a
kitchen, the
most popular
table in a
restaurant, in
the dogs´
favourite place,
in the fact that
some plants
prefer one
location to
another, in the
pigeons
returning to
their
pigeonholes, in
the migration of
birds, turtles
and other
animals, in the
traditional
method to locate
underground
water (aura
meeter) and also
it´s behind the
recommendation
given to mediums
to seat always
on the same
seats at
meetings.
O Consolador:
What else would
you like to
add?
I thank you for
the opportunity
to contribute to
this electronic
magazine, which
is available to
all in all parts
of the world. To
all of those who
want to contact
me, you´re very
welcome. My
email is
polizio@terra.com.br.
O Consolador:
Your final
comments…
The Spiritist
Doctrine is like
a huge
lighthouse to
the world,
providing us
with the
directions and
lighting up the
way ahead. The
shortcuts are
there for those
who want to
follow them. The
light is there
too, and only
those who prefer
not to see will
reject it.
