Audiobooks: a rescue of art of reading

 
These days, in rereading the book The Gospel According to Spiritism a message signed by the Spirit of Sanson, I could not avoid thinking of those who are deprived of these readings, because they are suffering from the distressing condition of the visually impaired.

It could not, either, let me recall the comforting lesson that the Gospel sheds light on the possible reasons for these tests and atonement, experiences that, if lived resignedly, and demonstrate complete confidence in the righteousness of God and his purposes, of course, take the Spirit to climb over the long evolutionary journey safe, such experiments are due to "rescue", "fix" or "drainage of accumulated energy." The lesson quoted calling us, however, attention to duty that the Father gives to strive as possible in not only seek ways to remedy our own sufferings, but also and more vigorously, to remedy or alleviate the sufferings of our similar.

We can give this advice Sanson reading the message, received by the Spiritist Society of Paris in 1863, partially transcribed below:

"Love, in the deepest sense of the term, is the man to be loyal, honest, conscientious, to do unto others as you want them to do, is look around you a sense of inner pain that overwhelms all his brethren, soften them, is to consider how their great human family, because everyone will find this family, within a certain period, the worlds most advanced, and the spirits who compose it are, like you, children of God, destined to rise to the infinity. So you can not refuse your brethren what God gave you freely, because of your side, you much joy that you give your brother what you need. For all the sufferings, have therefore always a word of hope and comfort to you to be completely love and justice. "(The Gospel According to Spiritism, chap. XI, item 10.)

The vision, however, seems to extend to infinity. Another light bathes his eyes dazzled, and the way that it reveals the atmosphere torn, come see the figure of a man of majestic beauty, giving you the impression that descended from heaven to meet him. His tunic was made ​​of bright spots, the hair rested on the shoulders, the Nazarene, magnetic eyes, magnets of sympathy and love, illuminating the grave and tender, where hung a divine sadness.

Doctor of Tarsus beheld it with deep awe, and that was when, in an unforgettable voice inflection, the stranger called out:

- Saul! ... Saul! ... why do you persecute me? ".

Blindness to the gates of Damascus was followed days later, the benefit of sight, thanks to the magnetism of Ananias, as Emmanuel tells the same work:

"On the third day of fervent prayer, the hotelier announces that someone looking for. (...) He spoke to enter. An old man with a face calm and there is warm without the convert can see you ....

- Who are you? - Asks the blind admiration.

- Brother Saul, the Lord who appeared unto thee in the way, sent me to this house to see you return and receive the Holy Spirit's illumination.

- Your name?

- Ananias.

- Jesus told me, just that you had to, again, the gift of sight.

- Now - Ananias said, placing his hands in the dim eyes and a loving gesture - in the name of the Savior, I pray to God that you may see again. "

The precious help of Ananias to Saul was a call for renewal! 

Audiobooks benefit not only the visually impaired 

It would be absurdly pretentious, we try to be keepers of the light that would restore sight to fellow Christian ideal, however it would be able to try, but not returning them to the physical vision, developing a means to rescue them from enjoying the condition spirit of the vast literature through listening, to "offer their eyes" to see beyond the stars ...

It is known to all the great technological advances of electronics and one also ignores the existence of audio books on different subjects available for purchase.

We then have the ideal tool that could meet the needs of our brothers and sisters, children and adults, presenting with visual impairments. Here is a resource that does not merely attend to this kind of disability, but also the disabled immobilized by paralysis in its various degrees of immobility, like the brothers who are in a hospital bed or in your own home, often lonely, and could enjoy that pleasure instructive, enlightening and, above all, comforting, because audio books can make them "travel" by the beautiful paths reported in these stories that inspire the divine mercy in all confidence, encouragement, resignation, hope and faith .

Spiritists who we are convinced of the existence of life after the death of the body, we learn from the doctrine on the population of disembodied orb that inhabit the land and that are present in all environments, all the time. I also learned about the different levels of evolutionary spirit. Now, how many of them could not follow the stories in these audios and thus benefit from its contents, to be educated and to clarify, expand your spiritual vision and achieving a better spiritual condition?!

We have information on initiatives focused on these issues, as has been shown in previous editions of this magazine. Among these initiatives, we can cite the FEB in partnership with the LGW, which provides some works from psychographics of the beloved late Chico Xavier. The books are read accompanied by sound effects that resemble the old radio dramas, making hearing very interesting and enjoyable.

We have, in addition to this experience, some sites that offer to purchase CDs via the net, and several works by Spiritualists, as Kardec and Leon Denis, without, however, the sound effects, which did not alter the pleasure of hearing them and / or study them. 

The audio library Salt & Light is an example of this work 

Another fine initiative that should be mentioned and an example to be followed for the good of the dissemination and expansion of the doctrine is the spirit of Audiotec Salt & Light, located in the city of Rio de Janeiro, whose work is dedicated to the care of the visually impaired. The Salt & Light now has 2,800 members and formed an audio library with books on various literary topics. It is worth noting that the purpose of it, facing great financial difficulties, the audio library Salt & Light has been seeking new partnerships to keep active.

At first, informed about the Salt & Light, I imagined how wonderful it would in terms of the Spiritualist movement spiritualists audio library consisting of works that could meet the needs of members and supporters of spiritualism that face limited vision or complete blindness and irreversible.

We have great spiritual movement in the number of speakers who offer their lectures and conferences on different themes, which can be heard, seen and copied over the Internet, thanks to numerous websites maintained by teammates aware of the importance of the doctrine of disclosure to the advancement humanity's spiritual. Works of note for the amount that ends there, and that supply the difficulty many find in participating in all events taking place throughout Brazil and those who, for various reasons can not attend as they would like the houses and their spirit study groups.

Although there is great merit in these works, they can not satisfactorily meet the needs of visually impaired because they can not see and therefore can not have access to such brilliant and comforting exhibitions available on this vehicle called blessed computer. The exception is the recordings available in CD format.

Entering this site, we can identify groups that are not in monetary terms which provide them with the purchase of a computer or the cost of Internet usage. In contrast, among these we find a large number of people who have sound systems that allow them to listen to CDs, so you can, with ease and pleasure, to hear all the literature on these devices spirit, not only lectures and conferences, which were available in the format audio, audiobooks called.

Certainly, these companions, accompanied by their spiritual friends would feel grateful and express solidarity groups of friends interested in the full spirit and full disclosure of the doctrine, free of exclusion, because everyone would have access to it. 

The union between the federative and the publishers would be important 

With technology on our side, coupled with our good will, it is possible, therefore, rescue, even partially, the joy of these companions, giving them contact with the doctrine through literature, but the eyes, through hearing .

At the touch of a button "play" may reach the ears of these brothers the beautiful narrative of a novel like the aforementioned Paul and Stephen.

Old books on the dates, but the current content; current books, inspired by the ancient ... Whether they focused on teaching and studies, are fictionalized and turned to exercise sensitivity, evangelists and are aimed at the edification of the soul! All instructing all comforting and, above all, all balsamizando wounds, are being heard by incarnate or discarnate.

It is understandable that they consider the high cost it would spend for such a project by those who adhere to it. I believe it is only this is why a project like this is not yet in operation. But I also believe that "unity is strength" and that in meeting fellow conscious, this cost issue is overcome.

For such an enterprise must take into account questions such as: "What can we do in relation to the visually impaired spirit or not, they return to the blessed condition through literature spiritualist, review their studies with the doctrinal works, and also update them about the new works with new information, guidelines and advices drawn today by benevolent spirits concerned to help us address this very sensitive period of planetary transition?"

To join the federal, regional and intercity Unions, the spirit and so many more publishers want and how to work finding mechanisms that promote such a project!

It should, incidentally, an aside: It would be very interesting for the subject matter, that the publishers have moved to launch their books also in the audiobook version, signing agreements with companies, but themselves, which already operate in this market.
